1998 XJ Rear wheel bearings? (Chrysler 8.25 Axle)

My XJ sounds like it needs its rear wheel bearings doing. Just wondered if anyone had any advice as from what I understand the chrysler axle is a little different to the dana axle. I am reluctant to just take it apart and have a look as I drive the vehicle daily, so any advice or tips on how to the job would be much appreciated. :D
