Title: TJ Bulkhead/firewall cover
Post by: Brachunky on December 21, 2014, 06:43:02 PM
Gents, Im wondering if there is some type of cover/seal which is missing from my recently acquired TJ! Here's a photo showing where the heater hoses are connected to the matrix but surely something is missing here which could lead to plenty water getting in?

I would have expected a high density foam panel to have been there, probable time has took its toll and was removed never to be replaced

It is just a foam seal. New ones come as part of a kit, and looking how simple it is, I bet it'd be easy enough to make one out of some foam matting as used for kneeling/lying pads. If I remember I might take a pic of mine later on.

Now I see! Reckon that could be made pretty simply :icon_winkle:
