If there are no seats and no belts then there is nothing there to test.....

Never had seats or belts in mine for the 8 years it was on the road.....never a problem....

You can leave the belts in, they're not testable as a seat belt if there isn't a seat. It doesn't matter if the seat is missing.

What happened? I havent had rear seat or belts in years. Major mods are declared to a degree but not Audi seats mounted to a full cage with harnesses. Big tyres, lift and a winch are hard to miss.

removal of a seat shouldn't affect the insurance, adding additinal seats does

Does that mean if your rear belts are not working you can just remove your back seats to pass the test ad then put them back in afterwards.

It would get you past the test.

But the tree hugging health and safety girls would have a field day if things went wrong further down the road.

Yup, it ain't a seat belt if there's no seat.
