got me another jeep, this time its a hemi :)
« on: September 16, 2016, 12:31:57 AM »

greetings all, back again with a new jeep its an 05 hemi WH

Ive had lots of messages on dash abs, traction control (skid image) and service 4wd system and service electronic brake come up.

my little obd 2 code reader shows no related faults (possibly P0700)

so is any of this to do with this update ive been reading about? it drives very well and goes in to low range and back out without any trouble

dont want to take it to the stealer to get the light out only to find the update stops the low range working so well.

driving home the lights went out after half an hour or more but were back after 5 mins on the next trip  :banghead:

Hemi ??   :pop:

Is it lifted? If it is that could explain why you have Traction Control ESP/BAS lights on.
If the tracking is not 100% you will get that light but there are lots of other possible causes. Clockspring is one.

The ABS light is usually related to the speed sensors. Either one of the sensors need to be replaced or the wiring from/to your sensor needs to be checked. Even more so if the ABS light disappeared at times but come back.

Try to find an Auto electrician who could scan it instead of going to Jeep garage you would save few quid and lot of time.
