Jeep Monkey tour bus prop shaft
« on: April 13, 2015, 09:53:52 PM »

Right then,  the Jeep Monkey tour bus (WJ) has a 4" long arm lift kit fitted........
This means that the standard V8 front prop is just about long enough when sat on a flat surface, I understand the 4.0L prop is around 3" longer ...... would this long enough?

It has had a prop made but it vibrates on over run ... its been taken back and rebalanced ..... still the same, been taken to another prop specialist who said it was a mile out rebalanced it and it still vibrates  :011:

So the question is i know there are a few peeps who have a 4" long arm kit on a WJ what did you guys do?

Custom front prop with UJs and double cardan joint - I think there is at least one conversion kit in the US
