Title: Immobiliser issue

When me GC had its issues at year end it was found to be the passenger door control module needed replacing

Would the remote key fob have needed reprogramming afterwards????.........
Dr Mike, anyone thoughts pls...

The module has to be programmed to accept the remotes IIRC. You need a DRBIII scan tool.

Hmm...so It may have been a good piece of customer service for the garage to have mentioned my spare remote needed rescanning......... :evil:

Is it a dealer only fix for this scan tool???

Could have got a result..booked in at local Jeep place Sat am ..estimate is less than I've seen here for such work

Well apparantly the spare FOB was knackered and batteries were low...

Got GIVEN! a replacement programmed fob...just waiting for the labour bill... :jump_125:

Be interesting..1 coffee and 20 minutes later twas out of said dealers....
