Title: Jeep Grand WJ ( Key / Fob Issues )

Hi
I only have 1 key and 1 fob, so I understand I have to go to dealer to get new set programmed. I have been
quoted around £50 for fob plus programming and another £45 to have 2nd key programmed.
Any cheaper way of getting a spare key that works!

No, 'cos it's the Jeep that is programmed to recognise the keys, not the keys that are programmed.

I have just had a have a key and fob from the main dealer, fortunately I did not pay for it but it came to £145. I also looking into other cheaper routes but could not finde one. As said already the fob needs programming.

Be interested if ya find an option....need one key sorting and could do with options...

a mate of mine does them but you need to get to warrington to get it done. unsure of cost as I got mates rates but the kit he bought to do it cost best part of £4k !
