I started my 93 4.0L YJ, run nice, switched it off, tried to restart - dead. :010:
No "check engine" light, fuel pump does not come on anymore. I have 12V at the ignition coil and at the pump relais. Any ideas??? :imwitstupid:
-
crank sensor could be possible.
if its an auto it could be neutral start switch.
-
Check the ASD relay.
-
any joy mate? did ya sort it?
-
It's the PCM :014: It's only £479.16 from the stealership. :hysterical:

Try a breaker or Ebay.

I've got one you can have for a score plus postage. The captive nut for the screw in the middle of the plug is bust out but it's a definite runner cos it's out of my old 2 door.

Thanks for the offer sprintagogo. My Part number is 56027368. I wouldn't know if they are compatible.
I have sent Mike a PM, hope he's got it. I also try to get one from the states.

Once again this site has proved that it can make a difference. :icon_super: Mike the doctor donated one of the organs from the old two door to my YJ and hey presto the old bastard is alive and kicking. :jump_125:
Thx Mike (took me some time to figure out how much a score was, bearing in mind that I'm an alien - Austria)
I now really try to make it to the cheapfest, to meet some of you.
-
Result... :greggmo:
