Evenin gents, im still participatin in the year long CJ7 wheel spacer hunt, and have made some progress by findin some alu billet 37mm in the UK, but, the fella is havin to make some adjustments coz he has metric ones, below is his latest email:
on the subject of the spacers I have aready got the UNF wheel bolts at the same cost as the metric ones I use but am still struggling to find any reasonably priced UNF studs, the only two options at present are 3" long studs for drag racing however these are £4 each or shorter trailer studs at around £2.50 each (the metric studs are less than £1 each), on top of this will be the extra machining cost. I Know you want to keep your locking nuts but it may work out cheaper to replace them with metric to suit the existing studs rather than buying in the UNF studs for the spacers. Let me know what you think.
Now as u know, the dood may as well be talkin Chinese to me, so I have 2 questions if u dont mind:
1. Any ideas where he can get UNF studs to suit?
or
2. Does it matter if I go the metric option?
Much appreciated, its workin out around £160, which is cheaper than gettin from the US coz of shipping, and at 37mm that bit bigger than Lasupertrux stuff
Cheers

What size studs do you need? I'll ask at the local fasteners place.

How long do they need to be?

:101: i may consider it if i knew what the hell a 'fastners' was :003: but have pointed him in the direction, i may have to consider googlin, bit worryin tho if he cant find it and u lot say its easy!
on the other hand, at around £160 i kinda think the fella should do it himself, either that or im gonna get bored waitin and just go via the US and put up with gettin shafted on the import tax :076:
