Diff is offside on the front and centre on the rear.

On a diesel mk1 (2.8) it's a 4.35 on a 3.1 (mk 2) it's a 4.56. On the rear end the g80 option code designates an LSD, but also all dutys have them (and often not the code) - best to do the spinning wheel check.

The front axle is IFS though, so probably not much use unless your planning on putting on in a frontera (straight swap). troopers mk1 are leafs and mk2 coils. IF you can find a pre 1988 with an LSD I'll swap you the rear diff for a later one ;)  reason the very early ones have a 10 bolt rear diff and an 8 bolt front diff, whilst the later ones have a 10 bolt front diff and a 12 bolt rear diff. Front LSD anyone?

Oh the axles / diff are also bullet proof. The frontera's have a sailsbury d44 copy in the back end, the trooper axles are an upgrade.

The auto box has an ecu and it's fly by wire. No simple swap into something else.
