Title: G>C> Gearbox problem

Hi all, 2001 Grand Ltd 4.0 petrol / LPG, 110k.After a few miles and the motor is hot the gearbox seems to start hunting and going up n down but only slightly doesn't seem to shift down a full gear if that makes sense, still does the same if the o/d is disengaged. The fluid is clean n clear and doesn't smell burnt and the level is ok. Local specialist had diagnostic unit connected but no fault codes show. Your comments or experiences greatfully recieved. is the torque converter lockup unit on these

Yup, and it doesn't work until the transmission is up to temperature.
