Title: Central Locking Problems 96 P reg 2.5td Limited

Hi All.

New Jeep owner here. Just picked up my first Cherry today. Its a 96 P reg 2.5TD Limited. A few niggles I'll be needing help with.

When operating the central Locking, the 2 doors on the drivers side dont lock. The 2 passenger doors and tailgate work but not the drivers side doors. Is there anything I need to be looking at to help put right?

Maybe a connection in the drivers door???

good chance its in the door there is a module in the drivers door i think

tell you an old gag i do remember if its the locking module in the door, disconnect the batt and leave for a couple of minutes to let everything reset then bung it back on and see if the module resets itself.

if you have any trouble matty, gimmie a ring and happy jeepin.  :imwitstupid:

No door module in an XJ, it'll probably be a broken wire.
