Title: Fitting New Springs Question
Post by: brendjill on August 22, 2009, 04:35:23 PM
I'm about to fit some new rear leaf springs to my 99 XJ and wondered if it was necessary to fit risers ?

a little extra lift would be good - not liking the saggy bum look! I don't want to fit the risers/shackles if it causes concerns somewhere else but I figured if I am going to change the springs it's an opportunity to fit some risers too.

Fitting new shackles is fairly easy so don't worry about having to do it when you're fitting the new springs.
