Title: xj fuel tank

the fuel pump in the tank is getting a bit lazy in priming when the ignition is switched on. So i was going to drop the tank and give the electrical connections a bit of a clean. Apart from siezed bolts is this a fairly simple task, and i don't have a wheel barrow like PTP has

Easy to do - but J bolts will probably end up as toast - and try to run to low - the tank is heavy

remove filler pipes before undoing the tank as well

If you have a steel tank you can remove the pump in situ.

mk1 so i gather it's the steel type, might take the tank out or at least drop it down so i can look at the boot floor. if ok then a wire brush and enamel paint to preserve it
