Help needed please! on my 4ltr sport xj the dude who had it before me fitted the interior out of a limited as he wanted the leather seats etc, but the centre console whilst attached is a little loose fitting under the armrest/tape holder. I've taken the tape tray out and cant find any fixing points, plastic clips etc to hold the console/armrest to the floor! is this just how it is or am I missing something? if anyone can tell me how it should be fixed or even if possible some photo's of how its fixed much appreciated! not a desperate problem its just bugging me! :017:
P.s anybody know how to get the smell of doggies out of the carpet? whilst I love dogs whoever had it before has been carrying wet dogs in it daily I think and the smell is becoming more 'interesting' by the day!

I had a similar problem in mine when I first got it (the wobbly armrest) and I remember taking out the storage box and then just about being able to get to some fixing screws/bracket but to be honest, it wasn't particularly rigid when I had finished. I just think it is a bit of a weak design and you will probably have to live with it.
I'm sorry but I can't help you with any ideas on how to remove the smell of dogging in your Jeep :icon_eek: :hysterical:

I did wonder if thats just the way it is as I couldnt find any broken off lugs or anything obvious! I'll try n knock up some cunning brackets to affix the offending item! as for dogging I'll just have to keep away from parking in lay byes late at night with a red hankey hanging out the passenge....................... hang on a minute think I might have revealed too much here :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :jpshakehead:

to rid yourself of the smelly dog, you can do a couple of things, charcoal left on some newspaper should absorb the smell,or most of it, coffee grinds can do the same, otherwise its seats.area out and a carpet valet or take it out and jetwash the infected carpet, or i think you can cut an orange in half and leave it in there.
all of these I have heard but can't vouch for most of them.
