Post by: harry-cj5 on December 31, 2009, 08:34:58 PM

hi, just after a little advise!

just been offered this 1997 grand cherokee with suspect head gasket gone.

is it a nasty job to do?  and are they any good for off-roading? thanks harry.

You can get a whole replacement engine for £150 or less at the moment.

been looking around at these jeeps and they dont seem to fetch alot of money, so paying 450 then replacing the head gasket or the engine

dosent seem to be worth while, when i can buy one running for 750.

as for off-roading nobody so far has had a bad word for them.

maybe give this one a miss!
