I need some pictures of XJ front winch bumpers.
Off to see David Bowyer at Goodwinch tomorrow to collect my new TDS winch :steeringwheel: :003:

Helpful chap, I have a TDS on the TJ, only used it once at the Turkey hunt to retrieve a defender but appeared to pull well.
Cheers
Nick

I made my own because there is little to choose from in this country and what there is available is often excessively expensive (Landrovers have loads of choice and often for very little money :icon_sad: ). I also didn't like the way most Cherokee bumpers stick the winch tray way out the front, I wanted something a bit lower profile and I didn't mind cutting into the fibreglass front panel to achieve this.

Be sure to extend the side plates back along the chassis rails and use every bolt you can.

BE CAREFUL if you do decide to cut into the grill because part of the wiring loom runs in the lower cross bar below the rad grill.
