Title: Teds Winter project ??
Post by: tedthefed on January 25, 2010, 08:47:22 PM
Well got the Diesel XJ to friends garage and this afternoon (5 hours & some help) removed gearbox to sort out starter motor (9 pin so the expensive one typical) and rear main oil seal needs doing as oil spitting out. New rear shocks needed  but will leave springs as are, Front nearside UJ may get done as may the ball joints . Needs full valet inside as young kids debris . The tyre mix a bit odd 3 A/T and 1 Normal.
A little oil change and hopefully that it for now.

Dave wants it at the garage for loan car and send the 4 litre to the site but again will see......

I'll have a pair of rear shocks for sale after I fit the lift kit, only done 300miles if you're interested?
