Title: Cherokee XJ 4.0 1996 Auto cruise control stopped working,

Hi,

Cruise wont engage, light comes on when you press the left button on the steering wheel, neither of the right hand button do anything, has been working perfectly, checked linkages onto throttle body etc, all seem fine.

Any idea's?

it would be a scream if it was wired to the third brake light

Had the same thing on mine check the vacuum pipes.

Haha... might be tricky finding the wires for that.

Thanks for advice, small pipe on to manifold for vac pipe and failed, new pipe, all back to cruise on between lanes, happy days.

Laning in South Devon, real local to us, found a mad lane, sadly it will be truck wrecker though...
