Hi all, hoping that someone might be able to help me please.
Just had my super fantastic Wrangler TJ MOT'd, the guys at the garage have told me that I have rusty brake lines, (not me the Jeep).
They said they can't remove the sheath to have a look but havent had too many Wranglers in so didnt know if this was normal or not :jpshakehead:
So, my question to you dear peoples is - Has anyone else had this issue? - Any suggestions? - Jeep doesn't go too far, it's not used daily, it's a 1998 & has always been fully serviced & loved. Brakes work fine (is that a silly thing to say?!)
Hoping you can help.
Thanks in advance.

the sheath is there to protect the brakelines from damage, if you could remove it, you will probably find nothing wrong underneath, you may have light surface rusting on the exposed pieces but then all jeeps do,

They do rot and can fail without warning.

ask them for a price on replacing them.
