Hi .............. I picked some side/brake light bulbs up from Halfords recently using their 'book' to get the right ones. But they weren't ! :jpshakehead: Theirs were round-bottomed with pins whereas mine when I came to swap them turned out to be a push-in type. Does anyone know where I can buy the correct bulbs without bothering a main dealer ?
Also, I think my front side lights are pretty dim - is there a brighter bulb I could fit to improve them or will just fitting new bulbs & cleaning the inside of the lense help ?
And finally - can I buy a rear wiper from anywhere on the high street or is that a main stealer visit as well ?
Thanks in anticipation :icon_winkle:

Bulbs..lighthouse?
Wiper arm if its the rubber ditto Lighthouse or maybe Halfords who I've found out today have an on line thingy...
-
in most cases if you take the old bulb/wiper into the car spares shop they can match it, personly i never use 'the book' to find parts

Hi BF ................. yes Halfords do have an online 'thingy' but they're only selling stuff they have (or don't have !) in the shop ! At xmas I reserved for collection, 2 items which were shown as in stock & 10% off - when I went into the store to collect them, the guy went round the aisles to get them for me & surprise .............. there were non there ! I could've told him that as I'd already looked :jpshakehead:
Couldn't really see the point of the service :017:
Cheers for the suggestions but surely there must be somewhere I can pick bulbs & wipers up locally without having to pay postage ?
btw ........ remember our topic on roof lights from last year ? Well ............ if you can :icon_rolleyes: ............. lol ............ I finally sorted mine - it only took a few months !! I'll post some pics up shortly (when I've taken some !) Did you ever get yours done ?

Thanks Nosebolt ................... I guess a motor factors would be best ? There don't seem to be many good car spares shops around these days ............... where does everyone go ?
-
