Title: XJ transmission leak
Post by: grayspeed on February 28, 2010, 10:11:09 PM
Whilst doing a mate a favour today, towing his challenge truck, my transmission sprung a leak. Once the smoke subsided, it looks like the fluid is coming out of the bellhousing.

Before I drop the box out, am I likely to find a seal gone, either in the torque convertor or gearbox input, or something more sinister?

I hope so....

Will I have to go to Jeep or is the seal available aftermarket?
