Post by: Bishops Finger on March 09, 2010, 12:25:39 AM
This is why folk buy Solihull trucks

Unlike TJ's fitting involves something called welding....which laugh not Ive forgotten to sign up for a course for......one supplier wont ship US to UK....don't think Kevins (Not Bubba...)will either...

Need a Llama 1.5 lift methinks ...

Can't be that different to XJ ones in design - Phat Phux could make you some up to sit below the sills or you could go the box section sill replacement route.

I found this bit of text young Hobbit ....

Quote
Three Rails for the Aussie-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Yanky-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Landy Men doomed to die,
One for the Finger on his dark throne
In the Land of Brumigum where the  PhatPhux lie.
One Rail to rule them all, One Rail to find them,
One Rail to bring them all and in the darkness weld them
In the Land of Brumigum where the PhatPhux lie

It appears PhatPhux is the way to go .....

they are mythical pair of jeepers, both love bacon sarnies and mugs of tea, cider and  welding..... and they live around birmingham, meeting on a regular basis in a garage next to the pigeon shed and repairing jeeps....... ones called bubba and the other greggmo :lol_hitting:

After todays playing after some decent rails with built in sliders, have a fab man down the road who is up for doing them.....think PP fabrication a little too far for me
