Title: grand cherokee cd player

hi all have a wj and the cd player is playing up.Is it straight forward to put an after market cd player in with iso connector plug or  is there a problem with having a seperate amp .Thanks for any help pete

the radios in wj's are a custom fit. I was thinking of changing mine for a sat nav dvd player type, so did some searching on what would fit, found you need to cut the dash and trim panel to make a double din unit fit (like you had to do on ford capri's) i found a write up and pics on whats involved!
so decided to leave it.

You'll need a fascia adapter and wiring loom - look on the bay.

I have a CD/Cassette/Radio - model RBP.  I took it out when I fitted an RB3 that I got off ebay.
