Is it me or do WJ 2.7 diesels sit higher than 4litre petrols?
-
Dunno....but I could line them up next to each other over easter and let you know the result.
In laws neighbour has one.... :icon_winkle:

yes please :icon_winkle:

I thought that all WJ,s where the same height and only the XJ diesels that stud 1" higher.
-
Had mine parked next to a 2002 2.7 and there didn't seem to be much in the height difference, & mine has 2" spacers. Thinking either the springs on the diesels are higher or my springs are really shot
-
Doh, forgot I had the parts manual. Seems there are 8 different spring rates, doesn't say which is on which spec WJ, but there seems to be differences
-
more info on rates here but no ideas as to which model has what http://wjjeeps.com/upcountry.htm#SPRINGSFR (http://wjjeeps.com/upcountry.htm#SPRINGSFR)

I noticed that about the oil burners too wonder why that is do the XJ's have a taller height also then.
All WJ's should come with a ride height as if lifted & 31" tyres I looked at a pic of mine before the lift & it looked very pedestrian.
