Title: petrol cherokee snorkel
Post by: Dave69 on May 07, 2010, 04:00:22 PM

when a snorkel is fitted to a petrol cherokee the screnn wash bottle needs to be replaced. I have routed the air intake on mine into the windscreen scuttle so the washer bottle is now redundant. What make of screen wash bottle do people replace it with ?

if space is an issue use a soft bag like this (http://www.superformance.co.uk/a-246/glass.htm), seen cheaper in local motor factors

On mine, I got another header tank, drilled a couple of holes for the motor and float switch,
ran some plastic tubes round the firewall and mounted it in front of the servo and master cylinder.
Worked great.

Dave i've got a twin pump bottle that mounts on the o/s. Think its the one you get with a safari kit. You can have it if you want. Its on the one i broke for parts and i don't need it. Donk.

put it int he boot and use the rear washer pipe to feed the front, just need to runa  couple of cables to power it thats all, I have the front one mounted on the N/S in the boot and the rear one in the  appature behind the spare wheel
