ok grand, 40l petrol 97, she was running fine, whent in just for a check to make sure the lpg system was all running fine, she was running a bit rich so it was adjusted,
she still runs absolutely fine on lpg, BUT on petrol its a pig!!
she will start up ok and rev just fine, but go to pull away and it seems like she is either missing or hunting, very jerky, you can pull through it, but usually if you stop it will then stall, will start back up but is just the same on petrol, if you swith to lpg then she runs fine, so i am assuming all the plugs/dizzytps etc are all fine, what would you say? fuel filter? o2 sensor?

Check the fuel filter first. Could also be a buggered fuel pump.

02 sensor kicks in when up to temp, not from cold, if it starts running lumpy misfiring jerky after a few miles could be 02 you may see black exhaust smoke as you try and rev the engine. the 02 sensor goes open or short circuit when faulty lean /rich.

Just an update in case any one else gets this problem, I bought a fuel filter to see if this was the problem, but couldn't find it under the vehicle, as I have LPG fitted the standard tank was not there, replaced by the LPG one, neither was the fuel filter.
Well after looking around I found a kinked pipe leading to the engine from the tank, this was the problem.
Fitted an online filter just for a bit more protection, but it now runs fine again, so just check your pipe work first, just in case
