Changed the XJ's oil for the first time tonight and noticed it hasn't been cleaned for a while down there.
What recommendations do you have for engine degreasers? In the US i'd spray a couple cans of Gunk, rinse off and call it done. But i'd like to know what you use here.
-
Gunk sounds good here too.
-
there is also a degreaser called jizer (spelling) but i think it is the same as gunk anyway. the steam cleaners are prety good at removing all the crap off the block though.
-
jizer is good stuff, its made by deb
use to sell it when i worked for partco
-
Jizer rules!
-
Jizer every time!!
-
mayo is good but i also use parafin diesel mix lot cheaper than mayo gunk or jizer plus will work as a soak for days
-
Used to get Jizer for free. Think I know where there may still be a drum full. :)
-
Gunk is very good
Also used Autocare degreaser
Got some Tetroclean to try
Wouldn't recommend jizer tho

Why?
