Hi guys , Ive got a problem with my PAS !! The fault is that I have to rev the jeep to get the power steering to kick in when off-roading > Anyone else know of this problem or the solution ??? Which would be the best way to beef up the power steering as im running on 36" tyres ???Cheers Cleggy  :jump_125:

Might also be the oil overheating. I fitted a cooler to my XJ to stop it happening.

fit a 24 inch pulley to the pump :icon_winkle:

Syphon the fluid out it may be old and contaminated and if its coffee coloured it is..... and put new fluid in.
If not try a 4" pulley from PSC available for about $50 from Quadratec .....being smaller will give the pump more power at tick over ....ie off road
You will also need a different belt 70" apparently.
