Annoying problem on my LPG system. Usually when you get off the pedal it should just drop to idle. But recently on mine it sometimes (not always) just drops down to zero and dies. Most often when coming to a roundabout on A roads, ie; when slowing down from high speed (60-70) to stop. However if i 'blip' the throttle a couple of times, it remembers to idle instead of dying. Also happens on long straightways when coasting.
Its fine on petrol, only happens on gas. Obviously' dead sticking' my way around a roundabout while restarting the car is getting annoying (and somewhat dangerous).
Any ideas on what to look for? I'm hoping i can find it as the Jeep is my daily driver and i can't have it sitting in an LPG shop while i find another way to get to work.
Thanks.

Are you using a snorkel
Also have you tried disconnecting the battery and leaving for a few minutes then reconnect
Will take a few minutes when started to reset itself

Is the battery low on charge?? I had a problem quite similar on LPG when my TATima battery was dying.

Taking both your replies i'll
a) clean up the connectors on the battery, make sure enough juice is getting through.
if not, then
b) replace the battery and see if that helps.
Thanks.

You know, the reason i never reply to your PM's or posts is because you VERY rarely have fuck all useful to say. Not surprised to see this hasn't changed.

:beerchug: Cheers mate, i shall go and have a look later.
BTW, Doesn't 'seem' to be the battery. All connectors are solid, battery is also OK.

for a quick test just replace it with some pipe & see if its better, wouldn't leave it like that though
