Title: cherokee snorkel and lpg

i know that some LPG vehicles dont like to run with a snorkel. What about 4.0lt cherokee's.? Does anyone have an LPG powered one with a snorkel.? Any problems at all.?

thats a can of worms in itself i am not so sure that a snorkel is as much help as it is a hazard offroad they seem very damage prone

there are genuine reasons for them and not for them as for running with LPG as long as the airflow is good there shouldn't be a problem

can never make my mind up with them when running a petrol engine. I always think if you are deep enough to need one with a petrol engine then the chances are you have drowned the electrics anyway....  At least a diesel isnt as susceptable to water. One a much gayer note, they do look cool.... :icon_redface: :icon_redface: :icon_redface:

The only problem you may run into is with the vent facing forward it becomes a mini forced air vent which can play up with your air/gas mix, I've been told turning it to face the rear of the jeep may solve the problem. I don't have a snorkel on my LPG'd jeep but this is what the guy who fitted it said
