Title: Drivers side mirror WJ Grand

 Hi, Need some advise please, my drivers side mirror looks like it is melting and misty :017: from inside
     getting hard to see anything in the mirror at the mo, what could cause this as i dont want to buy
     a new one if it has a problem

They are oil filled and fooooooooking expensive - buy a spurious one and cut to shape.

 It's electrochromatic (it has a layer of liquid crystal that darkens when an electric current is applied) a replacement glass is about £150. If you get a standard one from a Sport or Laredo it'll be a lot cheaper, or do what IOM says and get a cheap pattern one that sticks over the old one, won't heat properly to defrost then though.

Got the whole unit from fleabay 3 ago at a bargin. Nowt wrong with it.

Wiring it up was a bit of a challenge but still singing and dancing.
