Hi everyone,
have searched for this but without luck, I need a new serpentine belt for my jeep,
tried the bay and they say there is only one listed for the car, measuring 2490mm long
did a rough measure with some string and mine is about 2700mm long
so can anyone who has done this job give me the length of belt i need and where to get one.
tried the local dealer and they only list the shorter one, they use to keep the right ones in stock but
ran out, and then forgot which one to order!!
thanks for any help you can give me

Try Mansfield 4x4 or the Jeep spares place in London the name of which escapes me
-
Also try VM Specialist in Chesterfield. www.vmdieselspecialist.com (http://www.vmdieselspecialist.com)

Give any local motor factor the length and number of grooves (should be printed on the belt too) and they can match it up.

thanks for the advice,
will take the old one off this weekend to measure it properly as i only did it roughly with a piece of
string to see if it was the shorter one.
when I've measured it and got the new one will post the supplier and belt details for anyone else looking for one.

measured the old one and I needed the 2553mm length belt,
Went to Unipart Automotive, were they had to order it in as its not a stock item
The belt is made by Gates with the code 8PK2553ES on it, cost me £40
