Hi all.  I have just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 V8 in Spain and am experiencing a few problems, but I don't know who I can trust.  Just had the wheel bearings changed in the the rear axle and am experiencing really bad whining when I turn.  I am an engineer, so i know this is not good.  However the Spanish mechanic says its ok....typical denial of his responsibility.  Before I can hit him with the book, can anyone tell me what can be causing this.  I think he has over tightened the bearings, but I don't know how to prove it.  Can anyone give me some advice.
Cheers

for a few answers you might have to wait until Monday as the yearly cheapfest has unofficially started today (well setup anyway)

If it's like a creak from the rear in low speed turns, has he drained the axle and refilled it without limited slip diff additive?
