They're essentially the same vehicle, I think:

WJ=North America
WG=UK and Europe

Had to Google this one  :017:

The WJ went from 99- 2001

2002 saw the update model of the WG Grand

The WG (aust. only America still called the WJ's )
Stared in 2001 - through to 2005

WJ is the US built North american market version 1999-2004 model years. WG is the export model for most other LHD and all RHD markets made in the Steyr plant in Graz, Austria 1999-2004 model year.

               .......and similar applies to ZG/ZJ. ZJ LHD North american markets, US built 1993-1998. ZG Graz built LHD Export markets and all RHD and diesel 1996-1998..........and WK 2005-2010 US models, WH Export and RHD blah blah.....
