Hi Guys .
I am hoping some-one on here can help... little things more annoying than wrong.
I had the aircon recharged and ever since the cooling fan starts up intermittently.. ok start engine .. 20 seconds later fan kicks in for 2 secs .. switches off then 20 secs does it again .. and every 20 secs until engine turned off.. no overheating .. temp ok .. did not happen until aircon recharged.
other thing .. everytime I lock the car , the horn sounds once. is there anyway of turning this chirp off.I have checked me handbook ... nuffink.
The jeep is an XJ 4.0ltr Orvis year 2000.
thanks in advance

The fans supposed to cut in like that when the air con is on, everything doe's it. Don't know about the alarm though :icon_rolleyes:

If the fans didn't come on, the A/C wouldn't work properly. The horn chirp can be deactivated like this....Press and hold the Lock button, of your remote transmitter, depressed for five to ten seconds. While holding the RKE transmitter Lock button depressed, press and release the RKE transmitter Unlock button, then release the lock button.
The horn chirp feature should now be disabled. Repeating the preceding steps will again enable the horn chirp feature.
