Title: KJ Blower switch fooked ?

setting 1,2,3 no joy......4 lift off at full chat but a bit noisy to have on continually.

guess the switch is fooked.  had a quick gander on fleabay but unsure.

Advice please for part nbrs and/or where to buy

Try stripping the switch down, it's probabley a loose connection. Had same prob with my fan switch, got it out of the dashboard found a rivet loose on one of the connectors took it apart, squeezed the rivet and connector together. Bingo haven't had a problem since :icon_biggrin:

this has been covered somwhere funny reostate thingy i think ivan said it was so simple he did it

It's the resistor pack in the heater box. Get a new one.

resister  that was it i new i was using the wrong word but just could not think of it

Yep, the resistor pack. 

About £20 to £25 from dealer and 10 minute job to replace (if you can unhook the connectors).

I downloaded the instructions from www.lostkjs.com (http://www.lostkjs.com) and/or www.jeepkj.com (http://www.jeepkj.com).  Just do a search for blower resitor.
