Title: Grand Cherokee heater probs

Just fitted new rad to my 2001 grand 4.0 but now can't get heat through  :017: and being the cold a*r*ed git that I am find it a tad annoying..............Help pleeeeeeeeeeease before they drop off !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the blend doors. Nothing to do with the rad, but a very common failure on WJs.
The doors that blend the hot and cold air get stuck on cold. It's a very expensive, dashboard
out fix if you do it the proper way, but there is another way to hack them. Look on the bay for
"grand cherokee blend door".

Would seem quite a co-incidence wouldn't it. However, it's the most likely problem. Many have
fixed it on here, so wait a while and you'll get some more thoughts.

You can now get a repair kit from Mansfield 4x4, about a hundred quid with instructiond I think.

could it not simply be an air lock to the heater ?
