Does anyone know if the Cherokee 4.0l high output is the same 4.0l high output that is in my YJ 1995??

thats my understanding known a few who have fitted xj engines not sure if there are any bits that need a fiddle with

need to swap ancillaries and water pump If i remember correctly

A '93-'95 will be the easiest as all the sensors will be compatible, so less to swap. Obviously if your YJ is manual, you will have to remember to fit a pilot bearing in the back of the crank as all UK 4.0 XJs are autos. As mentioned, some of the ancilleries on the front end will have to be swapped.
