Title: reverse lights

reverse lights have stopped working

i have checked all fuses and they are fine taken off rear lenses and swapped with indicator bulbs and they work fine

can anyone give me any pointers?

Auto by any chance? Sounds like the auto box selector position switch needs cleaning/replacing

yes sorry forgot to say its an auto it selects reverse fine

where is the autobox selector position switch located ie can i get to it from inside the car or is it underneath?

is it contacts that needs cleaning or similar

will look at it on Sat hopefully will try the adjustment first and hope for the best

I always carry a handy person with a red flag and a torch for reversing , very usefull , and easily replaced if you accidentally run them over...
