Hello All
My trouble appeared just few days ago.I'm trying to start the engine and it's very hard .I need to pump on accelerate for good 10 sec before it starts and when started it smokes from exhaust for another few secs and petrol smells around. It only happens on cold engine.
I doesn't happens always because other times it starts normally.Any ideas what's the problem??

Tomorrow morning switch the ignition on, wait 2 seconds, switch on again, then crank. If it fires up straight away, it's a seal failed inside the fuel pump allowing rail pressure to leak back to the tank.

Exactly as you said.
It started up straight away without any smoke and when I started it ,info"done"appeared on the computer.
Any chance to change this seal on my own??

is there a reason this will be a big problem sounds worth waiting a few seconds unless the repair is so easy even bulldog could do it

There is a repair kit available from Chrysler. The fuel tank has to come out though.
