Title: Boot light switch location on Cherokee?

Hi there,
New Jeep owner just bought Cherokee diesel 1998 been looking through the forum but haven't found this yet. Where is the switch on the boot for the rear cargo light is it on the catch or in the light ? Basically when the boot is open the light doesn't come on but when you open the doors it does. Any ideas?

The switch to activate the cargo lamp when the tailgate is opened is at the lock, inside the tailgate.

Brilliant thanks will have a play to see if this is the fault.
