after a short run today,the orange engine/gearbox symbol on dash has remained on,all other symbols go out,no apparent fault and everything working as it should.
any possible suggestions as to cause,suspecting faulty sensor somewhere?
handbook very vague as to cause-states if does not go out after several trips then investigate further.
Is there a way of resetting this without plugging it in to fault code reader?

my code reader didnt work, try turning ignition on and off 5 times in succession will display the codes in the mileage indicator, write them down and search for them either on here or on google. hope that helps

It's a CEL - Check Engine Light. The manual tells you to drive directly to the dealer and have it checked, but
in reality, it's only really bad if it's flashing. Anyhoo, read the code/s as suggested above. Use this
