Title: Have I cocked up?
Post by: grayspeed on December 28, 2010, 10:19:11 PM
Have I made a cock-up? I bought a diesel XJ for the LSD rear diff for my YJ, ideal I thought as my rear brakes are worn out, I'll swap the complete axle over, just been looking and XJs are spring over axle and YJs under. Do I fit the axle and XJ springs or would it be better to just swap the diff? The front is 4.5" lifted so spring over would match, just don't want to suffer with any more axle wrap or tramping than I've already got.

Ideas please.....

I can change both diffs as I have a leaky front inner seal now too! I thought rovers were bad for oil leaks! :banghead:
