Is the 4ltr lump in an XJ the same as the 4ltr lump in a ZJ?
-
Believe so old buddy same as in the 4l Wrangler Think its designated an I6

Why do you always think Im up to summit?
So its feasible for my XJ,s LPG kit to be refited on a ZJ>?
-
Cos you usually are!!!!!
-
You know it matey!  :finga:
-
Possible. They usually fit a larger 110L tank to ZJs I think. Could be wrong though.
The pain in the arse bit is gonna be finding somewhere who will issue an LPGA cert. once it's done. Otherwise most insurance companies won't touch it.
You just can't help ya self can you?

I raised this question with an LPG guy the other day, as regards swapping kit from 1 vehicle to another.......was quoted about £700 in labour!!! So not worth it!!
Listen muppet!!! YOU BREAK ZJ's..........A LOT!!!!
Just live with yer XJ!!!! Gonna be cheaper in all apsects!!
-
Was just a passing though as I was offered a ZJ today realy cheap!
-
Thank god for that!!!!
Even if it was for nothing, it would work out more costly the way you break em!!!
-
Well if one day i did get another ZJ first thing I would do is get a super35 in it

Saw my old truck down ar Garys and he has breathed life back into her, think im missing it a bit!

KD on a similar subject. I'm almost sure that what were Shropsire Autogas in Baschurch will still certify work done by someone else (They don't fit kits anymore). So you could get anyone who's compitent to swap the kit over and then get them to do the paperwork. May be cheaper.
Maybe worth looking into.

Isn't that a disposable camera?

cant be arsed mate.......twas only an option if my black'un was that much better than the lpg one, but it aint so was only asking in case the new one goes pop before i get bored with it!!
Stew, do you mean "Super35"?? Nah, I think it was a "Ronco button hole stitcher"
-
Could be at that
-
Or was it an in-car JD intravenous drip holder??
-
Oooo where can I get one of those!
-
So you recon if I had a ZJ that needed a lump I could use an XJ lump?
-
In theory yes, but you would still feck the diff!!!!
