Title: hand brake

just put hand brake on it went with a bang ,now leaver just moves no brake. any ideas

my guess is the self tensioner in the lever.

It'll be the short cable to the lever inside the centre console. Very common.

on my xj i managed to pull the end of the cable out of the lever :icon_rolleyes:
