Hi,
Grand Cherokee serviced, dont have details in Autodata on how to put service indicator out, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance Maf

select the service mileage on the overhead console then cyclce it through the kms values untill you get to 12000kms, when you hit step again it asks if you want to reset the service counter, select yes.
-
I think that changes the required service interval. What you need to do is STEP through till you get '0 miles to service' then press and hold RESET till it shows the new distance till the next service (usually 7500 for petrol)
-
Its what I do on mine, just cycle though the mileage back to 12000kms and it asks to save, stops the service reminders on startup
-
just checked, press menu about 8 times to get "service interval" press step a few times to cycle through distances back to 12000kms, then press step again and it asks if you want to reset the service distance, job done.
-
It works that way, but what you're doing isn't necessary. You're using the procedure that alters the default service distance for the unit, then zeroing the counter.

Press every button repeatedly till it goes away.

Thanks guys, got it set at 4800km.... that will do, cheers Maf
