Title: 96 4 litre GC...lower rad hose...where from without spending £70?!

Any idea.....where to get a lower rad hose? Main dealer wants nearly £70! And Euro Car Parts didn't have one.

After changing my pump, I'm still getting occasional coolant leak. Definitely seems to still be from weep hole or possible from top of lower rad hose. I'm wondering it it might be a small split, Or else, there might still be air in the system causing water to come out of the weep hole on the pump.

Something I noticed, the thermostat I took out of the Jeep had a small hole with a bearing in it. The one sold to me by Euro Car Parts didn't. I asked if this was a problem, and the guy assured me it would be fine. I'm now wondering....that small hole....is it there to allow air to pass through the stat so it bleeds properly? I seemed to have air pressure build up in the system this morning when I took the rad cap off not long after starting - the coolant was still cool and the stat, I assume, still closed. Just thinking, this lack of small hole in the stat might mean I never bled the system properly. Any thoughts?

Surely there must be a source for lower rad hose other than main dealer. I've tried ebay but nuttin', and had a lok through parts suppliers here. Really don't want a second hand one. Tempted now to got the generic rad hose route and make it fit!

Cheers Mike. I'll hunt down Lighthouse Jeep details. When I googled the name I ended up with Ampar with lighthouse details as one of their agents. I assume that's the info I need.
