Title: BULL BARS XJ
Post by: brian reid on February 13, 2011, 06:13:27 PM
can anyone give me advice on bull bars for my 98 xj

i have bars on it already but have never been happy witht the look,i am wanting to fit full front bars, there are loads on ebay at cheap prices but not a lot that would fit a cherokee

so i ask, what do you have fitted and  what machine were they intended for, did  they need modding, what type fit best for the later XJ.

regards brian

I was looking for a bull bar for my 98 XJ and drew a blank.. The bars that pop up on ebay from time to time all seem to be for MK1 Cherokees. I reckon they'd fit, but you'd need to cut away some of the front valance..

Maybe buying something that fits the dimensions roughly and then getting a decent fabricator to make it fit snug is the way forward.
