has the cat been removed or was it a 93 built car and therefore did not need a cat?

As as I can tell, it looks like it has been removed and a pipe welded on in place, I also thought only cars built prior to may 1992 did not require a cat to pass MOT emmisions.

Can anyone help me with this, theres so many Cats around which one if any is suitable for my car, I know it will need to be slot fit, but which?
help pls?

Hi, have a look under the jeep near were the cat should be there will be a wire connector for the cat sensor, 2 lambda's
one on d/pipe and one in the cat, :icon_eek:

They all had cats. If it was registered from August '92 onwards it has to pass a cat test.

A '94 only has the upstream sensor in the front pipe.

Yeah that one on e-bay will fit. Mk1's don't have lambda in the cat.
